STAKE EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS FAIR: will be held this year on Saturday, February 28 from 2 – 4 pm in the Dry Creek
Stake Center at 1157 West 900 South in Springville. A new feature this year will be a Stop-the-Bleed class at 2 pm and 3 pm. YOU MUST SIGN UP IN ADVANCE FOR THIS CLASS. To do so, contact, call or text John Petersen at 385-539-4196 or email him at petersenjc@gmail.com.
As in years past, the city will bring a fire truck to the parking lot and there will be exhibits on food storage, emergency cooking, fire extinguishers, ham radios, 72-hour kits, emergency lighting, and many other topics.
In our Stake Conference President Pennington extended this invitation to us for Fast Sunday in March:
“I invite everyone to join me in another fast this next fast Sunday in March. I would ask that we fast for our youth and children. They have challenges we don’t fully understand. They deserve our faith and hope, our prayers and fasting. Please join me.”
