GREAT UTAH SHAKEOUT/EMERGENCY DRILL: This year’s annual Great Utah Shakeout/Springville City Disaster Communications Drill will be held on Thursday, April 16 from 6 – 7 pm.
The “pretend” earthquake will be at 6 pm. At that time, you should Drop, Cover and Hang On for a minute. Then, if at home, get up and put a colored sheet of green paper in the front window or on the front door. If you don’t have a piece of paper, then hang something green on your front doorknob.
At 6:15 pm Block Captains should walk their blocks counting the number of papers. Then they call the results to the Ward Emergency Preparedness Representative no later
than 6:30 pm who will consolidate the reports and pass them on to the Stake.
REMINDER: Empty Nesters will be held on April 20th at 6:00 at the church. Please join us for an evening of good food, good company and good fun!

ENGLISH CONNECT: The Springville Dry Creek Stake will hosting a new session of English Connect that will begin Sunday, March 22 at 6:30pm - 7:30pm at the Meadow Brook building (678 S 950, Springville). Classes will be held at this same time and location through September. There will be a Level 1 Class (for individuals with very limited English) and Level 2 Class (for individuals with some English proficiency). The classes are open to all youth and adults in the community. Contact Brother Jacob Edwards of the stake High Council with any questions (dashboardjake24@gmail.com).
