As we strive to follow the council of church leaders to make Easter a larger celebration focused more on the Savior and the Resurrection, here is a list of activities you can do with your family that can get you started.
Visit with a friend or neighbor who might need company during Easter.
Create simple Easter care baskets for people in your ward or community who could use a pick-me-up.
Plan a group music night to sing hymns and Easter-focused songs together.
Share your favorite scripture or quote about the Resurrection on social media to uplift others.
Create a shared Easter journal where each person adds a thought, scripture, or testimony about Jesus Christ.
Learn to bake homemade bread while pondering the Last Supper and the gift of the sacrament. Share it with friends.
Paint rocks with Easter messages and place them around your campus or neighborhood.
Make a simple Resurrection scene using paper cutouts or recycled materials for a tabletop display, similar to a Christmas Nativity.
Make Resurrection Cookies: Recipe and Activity Here
Act out Jesus’s Resurrection as a family while reading Mathew 28:1- and John 20:1-18, similar to acting out the nativity.
