We share with the ward family that Bill Mathews, a longtime and beloved member of our ward, passed away on Tuesday, October 6th. A viewing will be held on Friday, October 16th from 9:00–9:45 AM, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 AM at our meetinghouse. We express our love and condolences to the Mathews family and invite all who wish to come and support them during this time.
Beginning on Sunday October 11th we will have a third Gospel Doctrine class. This class will be specifically for the parents of children too young to be in the nursery and is meant to provide a place where they can participate in a class without needing to frequently take their children out and miss much of the discussion. While anyone is welcome to attend the class, please remember the purpose of it and expect it to be a little different learning experience from the other Gospel Doctrine Classes. We are planning to hold this class in the back of the Cultural Hall where the Elders meet.
EMPTY NESTERS will be held on Monday the 19th at 6:00. It will be Bingo night with treats but NO DINNER so no sign up or assignments. Just come and have fun with friends.
TITHING DECLARATION will begin on Sunday September 6th and continue through Sunday November 29th. Click this link to sign up.

ENGLISH CONNECT: The Springville Dry Creek Stake will hosting a new session of English Connect that will begin Sunday, March 22 at 6:30pm - 7:30pm at the Meadow Brook building (678 S 950, Springville). Classes will be held at this same time and location through September. There will be a Level 1 Class (for individuals with very limited English) and Level 2 Class (for individuals with some English proficiency). The classes are open to all youth and adults in the community. Contact Brother Jacob Edwards of the stake High Council with any questions (dashboardjake24@gmail.com)
